Responsibilities The Star in Frisco is currently looking for a full-time sports physical therapist to join their current team of 9 PT’s and 3 OT’s. We are looking for a strong sports PT to treat high school, collegiate, and professional athletes along with high level orthopedic patients. An ideal candidate would be self-motivated, have their SCS or interest in obtaining this certification, strong manual skills, and be dry needling certified. The clinic utilizes VALD, Dorsi Vi, and isokinetic technology for objective data collection to best treat our athletes. In addition, the clinic has access to a turf field, basketball court, and weight room from a neighboring sports performance group. Initial and ongoing systematic patient assessment Patient Case Load Average: 10-12 patients a day Timely and accurate documentation using TherapEBridge Interpreting assessment/diagnostic data including medical notes and surgery reports Ensuring medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately Promoting continuous quality improvement Instructing and counseling patients/families as needed Qualifications Current state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Physical Therapist required.
