JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and various physical therapy practices. This role involves working with patients across different settings, including outpatient and inpatient care, with a focus on geriatrics, orthopedics, and acute care. The Physical Therapist will be responsible for developing individualized care plans to enhance patient recovery and mobility.

REQUIREMENTS

• Valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy relevant to physical therapy.
• Experience in outpatient and inpatient settings preferred; familiarity with geriatrics, orthopedics, and acute care is a plus.
• Ability to develop effective care plans tailored to individual patient needs.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and reporting.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ physical abilities and limitations.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.
• Utilize various therapeutic techniques to improve patients’ strength, flexibility, and mobility.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment plans, exercises, and rehabilitation strategies.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal recovery.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care for patients.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient evaluations, treatments, and progress notes in compliance with clinic standards.
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in physical therapy practices and techniques.
