Supervises daily professional patient related activities of Physical Therapist Assistant and Physical Therapy Aides. Communicates Physical Therapy goals and patient information to physician, hospital staff, and agents of reimbursement. Qualifications Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy Current CA Physical Therapy license issued by the Physical Therapy Board. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Preferred: Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) One (1) year of professional experience with both in and outpatient areas of an acute care hospital preferred, including pre-graduate clinical internships. Responsibilities

The Staff Physical Therapist is responsible for providing evaluation and treatment for a variety of complex diagnoses in both in and outpatient settings. This role also involves supervising the daily professional activities of Physical Therapist Assistants and Aides, and communicating patient goals and information to physicians and staff.
