Summary of Job: The Physical Therapist shall plan and implement specific physical therapy treatment programs for residents in a variety of settings according to accepted Physical Therapy practices and principles and in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team. Reporting Relationship: The Physical Therapist will report to the Director of Rehabilitation. Other Key Relationships: The Physical Therapist will directly and in-directly supervise treatment carried out by licensed Physical Therapy Assistants. The Physical Therapist will directly supervise treatment carried out by Physical Therapy students. Requirements Minimum Education, Experience and Skills: Education: Postgraduate Bachelor’s Degree Experience: Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program and currently licensed in the state of South Carolina as a Physical Therapist. Three months of related experience in a senior living community or skilled nursing facility. Skill: Ability to effectively communicate using basic language skills. Ability to manage time and the work demands using practical problem solving and critical thinking skills.
