Physical Therapist The Patient Impact A patient walks in with pain, stiffness, weakness, or limited movement. Your job is to help them understand what’s happening, rebuild function, and move through life with more confidence. That’s the heart of this Physical Therapist role in a PT-owned orthopedic outpatient office in Fort Lauderdale, FL. About the Setting This clinic treats 2 patients per hour, allowing Physical Therapists to stay engaged in each patient’s recovery. The schedule is flexible, with either a 4-day work schedule or Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM available. Responsibilities Evaluate patients and identify movement limitations Build treatment plans for orthopedic and outpatient rehab needs Treat patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, chronic pain, and mobility issues Provide therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, balance work, gait training, and functional activities Help patients understand progress, setbacks, and home program expectations Adjust treatment plans as patients improve Document care clearly and accurately Work with PTAs to keep treatment aligned with each plan of care Active FL PT License DPT Degree or MSPT Degree Outpatient experience preferred New graduates are welcome to apply Interest in orthopedic rehabilitation Ability to build trust with patients through clear communication Pay and Benefits Salary: $90,000–$110,000 per year, based on experience Health Insurance Dental & Vision Insurance 401K with Company Match 3 weeks PTO Help patients get back to the movements and routines that matter most to them.
