Upper Valley Medical Center Physical Therapist (Part-Time) Outpatient - no weekends | Part-Time: 28 Hours per week Under the general supervision of the Rehabilitation Supervisor and in alignment with established policies and procedures, the Physical Therapist is responsible for delivering high-quality care across all patient populations served. Key responsibilities include: Conducting initial evaluations, reassessments, and discharge summaries Providing patient-centered treatment based on evaluations and reassessments Completing all required documentation in a timely and accurate manner Maintaining productivity in accordance with departmental standards Delegating tasks appropriately to support personnel Actively participating in case management of patient care plans Performing non-clinical duties that contribute to efficient daily operations Participating in one to two departmental, hospital, or community meetings or programs Teaching, orienting, training, supervising, and mentoring staff, including new employees, volunteers, observers, and at least one student annually This role is essential to supporting comprehensive rehabilitation services and fostering a collaborative, educational, and patient-focused environment. Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program. Current and valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Ohio. Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively problem-solve, plan, and prioritize tasks. Demonstrates flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment. Ability to exercise independent judgment, make sound decisions, and maintain confidentiality. Consistently displays professionalism through a positive attitude, initiative, dependability, and collaboration. Proficient in both verbal and written communication. Committed to ethical practice, in accordance with the APTA Code of Ethics. BLS Certification within 30 days of hire
