Atrium Medical Center Physical Therapist (PRN) PRN (Days) | Weekends need | Inpatient rehab The Physical Therapist provides comprehensive evaluation and treatment to patients. This individual will provide direct patient care and will monitor and report the patient’s progress. Performs physical therapy treatment on a one-to-one for patients with orthopedic, neurological and work related impairments. Access to Medication Room is required to perform the assigned job function. Completes required documentation and provides appropriate patient and/or family teaching. The PT will also participate in staff management, cost management, and professional practice activities. This position is responsible for maintaining certification and/or licensure, achieving all continuing education requirements, demonstrating excellent customer service and contributing to the overall effectiveness of the department. Education: Degree in physical therapy from an accredited PT program. Licensure: Current physical therapy license in State of Ohio. Maintains CEUs for licensure renewal. Certification: BLS certification within 30 days of hire Experience: May be a recent graduate with a generalist background. Prefer a minimum of one-year experience. Skills/Other: Demonstrates knowledge base and skill in providing age specific care. Possesses team-focused attributes. Works scheduled hours as assigned.
