Description ELIGIBLE FOR SIGN ON BONUS Experienced with 2+ years: $10,000 New Grad: $7,500 Physical Therapist (PT) works independently to provide physical therapy evaluations and therapy services to patients as ordered by a physician, consistent with hospital policies and procedures, standards of practice, and regulations as directed by the Rehab Director of . Provides assistance to the patient in the restoration of function and prevention of disability following disease, injury, or loss of a limb. Has full access to patient health information. Schedule: Monday-Friday, rotational weekends (FT 40 hours) Requirements Currently licensure in NC as an Physical Therapist (PT) or state licensure examination eligible. CPR certification is required. If not currently certified must complete upon hire. Successful completion of a competency based orientation which includes age and population specific skills for the area of practice in which the PT will be working, and addresses the growth and development needs for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients. Work requires the physical demands of positioning, transferring, and lifting patients. Must possess full range of body motion to pass basic FIT test for position to include walking, kneeling, standing, pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, reaching and sitting for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
