Inova Physical Therapy - Ballston is looking for an outpatient Physical Therapist to join our outstanding team. This position is PRN or as needed for intermittent coverage needs. Clinic Hours are Monday-Thursday from 7:00am -7:00p, Friday from 7:00am to 4:00pm. Physical Therapist (PT) Job Responsibilities: * Demonstrates essential skill competencies in the use of treatment modalities, equipment, and protocols. * Performs re-evaluations according to department guidelines while adjusting treatment plans accordingly. * Adheres to department policies regarding the timeframe, form, and content of written evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries. * Gives appropriate instruction and supervision to assistive personnel consistent with program/clinic policies and regulatory requirements. * Communicates effectively with patients, families, medical staff, care team members, students, supervisors, and outside contacts. Minimum Qualifications: * Education: Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy * Licensure: Physical Therapist upon start (VA licensure or compact privileges are acceptable) * Certification: BLS through the American Heart Association upon start Preferred Qualification: * Physical Therapist (PT) experience We are Inova, Northern Virginia’s leading nonprofit healthcare provider.
