This is an opportunity to practice true educationally relevant physical therapy — collaborating directly with IEP teams to help students access their education. What You’ll Do: Conduct PT evaluations and standardized assessments Develop PLEPs, IEP goals, and benchmarks Provide therapy services in school and itinerant settings Document in district SIS and support Medicaid billing Collaborate with teachers, psychologists, and families Serve students across a continuum of needs We’re Looking For: Master’s or Doctorate in Physical Therapy Active Delaware PT License 2+ years preferred in school-based setting Strong IEP writing skills Experience with complex physical and medical needs ASL knowledge a plus (for statewide programs) Compensation: 💰 Competitive hourly rate (anticipated $100–$115/hr based on experience) 🕒 School calendar schedule 🎯 No clinic productivity pressure 📚 Supportive onboarding for district systems Why SOS Personnel? Responsibilities
The Physical Therapist will conduct evaluations, develop educational goals (PLEPs and IEPs), and provide therapy services in school and itinerant settings for students aged 0-22. Responsibilities also include documenting progress in district systems and supporting Medicaid billing processes.
