OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with the neurodiverse pediatric population. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a crucial role in assessing, planning, and implementing treatment programs to help patients recover from injuries, improve mobility, and enhance their overall quality of life.

SKILLS

  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology relevant to physical therapy practices.
  • Familiarity with pediatric physical therapy techniques and treatments is highly desirable.
  • Excellent patient care skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with patients of all ages.
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with multidiscipplinary teams and education.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team focused on patient-centered care
    Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Fixed term contract
    Contract length: 12 months
    Pay: $50.00-$80.00 per hour
    Expected hours: No less than 20 per week

  • Current professional liability insurance

  • Experience working with young children and families
  • Strong communication and collaboration skill

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to determine their physical therapy needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Implement therapeutic interventions to improve patient mobility, strength, and function.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Educate patients and their families on treatment protocols, exercises, and self-care techniques.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient evaluations, treatments, and progress notes in accordance with medical standards.
  • Stay current with advancements in physical therapy practices and participate in continuing education opportunities.
