Find a fulfilling career and make a difference with UnityPoint Health. Responsibilities Evaluate and treat patients requiring physical therapy services in inpatient and pediatric outpatient settings. Develop individualized treatment plans designed to meet each patient's goals and functional needs. Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to support recovery, mobility, and independence. Maintain accurate clinical documentation and billing in accordance with regulatory and payer requirements. Collaborate with physicians, caregivers, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care. Provide guidance and supervision to physical therapist assistants and support personnel as appropriate. Educate patients and families on treatment plans, progress, and home exercise programs. Participate in care conferences and interdisciplinary team discussions to support optimal patient outcomes. Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, program development, and departmental goals. Qualifications Education Graduate of accredited educational program in physical therapy License(s)/Certification(s): Current license, in good standing, to practice physical therapy in the state of Iowa, or eligible.
