This is a 10-month position.    About the Team The Day School is an approved private school licensed by the Pennsylvania Bureau of Private Academic Schools and approved as a special education school by the Pennsylvania Department of Education. Families and school districts alike have connected with our expert educational team to bring specialized education and related services, including autism support and multiple disabilities support, to nearly 200 students from 60+ school districts across western Pennsylvania each year.   About the Position The Physical Therapist provides comprehensive physical therapy services to students, and participates as a related service in delivering an educational program aimed at allowing each student to attain his or her maximum functional potential.  They will work with other staff members as an integral part of a professional team to provide an appropriate educational program for each student.   Responsibilities * Provides screening and/or complete evaluation of physical therapy needs of students. * Develops specific physical therapy plans for use with students. * Trains, assists, and consults with other members of classroom teams to maximize effective implementation of physical therapy goals throughout the school day. * Demonstrates competency in both group and individual Physical Therapy activities. * Demonstrates appropriate techniques when working with students. * Completes all student and administrative documentation accurately and within facility time frames. Qualifications * BS, MS, MPT, or DPT from an accredited Physical Therapy school. * Must be licensed or eligible for licensure in Pennsylvania * Successful completion of a pediatric affiliation or previous experience with a pediatric population is preferred. * Act 33/34 Clearances; FBI Clearance.   Amazing Benefits We're proud to offer generous benefits to our team members.
