Description Position Summary: Responsible for administering physical therapy modalities of treatment as supervised by the staff physical therapist. Qualifications: Education/ Experience: Advanced degree from accredited program, completion of all state and national requirements for licensure/certification. VT License, registration with national office, CPR. Other Requirements: Ability to work independently, pay attention to details, multitask, and follow set procedures. Requirements Essential Functions Of The Position: Administers treatments and physical agents as directed by the staff physical therapist, after the physical therapist has completed evaluation of patient. Assist with restoration of patient functioning to prevent disability following injury, disease or physical disability Notify physical therapist of patient status changes, progression of program as appropriate Communicate effectively with co-workers, patients, visitors Participates in operational aspects of the department, maintains performance improvement activities within the department and participates in CQI activities. Participates in all infection control, departmental equipment training, organizational safety and emergency preparedness programs. Responsibilities

Administer physical therapy treatments and modalities as directed by a staff physical therapist to restore patient functioning. Communicate patient status changes and participate in departmental operational and safety activities.
