About the Role: We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to provide high-quality, patient-centered care to adult patients in their homes. In this role, you will work under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist to implement individualized treatment plans, support patients in improving mobility and function, and help them safely regain independence in their daily lives. This position offers the opportunity to build meaningful one-on-one relationships while delivering care in a comfortable, home-based setting. Scheduling and Compensation: Part-Time: Start part-time with room to grow your caseload and transition to full-time Compensation: $55–$65/visit Flexible scheduling Key Responsibilities: Implement individualized treatment plans under the supervision of the Physical Therapist. Provide therapeutic interventions and monitor patient progress in the home setting. Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safety strategies. Current, active Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in the state of Colorado (in good standing with the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies – DORA). Graduate of a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program. Current CPR/BLS certification. Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) documentation and timely completion of clinical notes. Ability to implement and progress individualized treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. Strong understanding of home health regulations and Medicare guidelines (preferred for home health setting). Excellent communication and patient education skills. Ability to work independently in a home-based setting while maintaining collaboration with the supervising PT and interdisciplinary team. Valid Colorado driver’s license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance (for home health roles).
