OVERVIEW

ATTN: This is meant to be a fun experience! We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will have a team approach to helping patients achieve designated outcomes while being encouraged to be creative and have fun! Your expertise in physiotherapy techniques and patient management will be essential in helping patients achieve their rehabilitation goals. Additionally, there are multiple clinics which allows for the clinician to engage in many different and exciting areas within the industry!

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant or relevant experience in physiotherapy settings.
  • Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and rehabilitation techniques.
  • Experience working with diverse patient populations, including geriatrics, pediatrics, orthopedics, and those requiring acute care.
  • Familiarity with discharge planning processes and the ability to create effective care plans for patients transitioning from one level of care to another.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team while demonstrating empathy and professionalism in all interactions.
    Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract
    Pay: $26.54 - $36.00 per hour
    Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
