DESCRIPTION:

• Demonstrates competency in the administration of all patient care activities.
• Provides for variety and creativity in treatment programs.
• Effectively provides patient and family education when appropriate.
• Safe work practices and use of proper body mechanics are demonstrated consistently in job

performance. Seeks assistance when needed.

• Takes responsibility to seek out yearly assessment of competencies, both general and area

specific.

MINUMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Graduate of Accredited Physical Therapy Assistant school is required.
