This is performed in accordance with physician orders and plan of care under the direction and supervision of the Registered Physical Therapist (PT). Summary of Responsibilities • Physical strength and stamina • Ability to lift patients and help them move • Ability to read and execute detailed instructions • Good interpersonal skills • Excellent verbal and written communication • Compassion and empathy • Good attention to detail • Solid knowledge of anatomy • Knowledge of PT stretches and exercises Requirements 2 years experience preferred Currently Licensed, Registered or Certified in Washington State 2 years certified by the American Physical Therapy Association

Responsibilities

A Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant administers physical therapy to patients intermittently in their residence, following physician orders and the established plan of care under the supervision of a Registered Physical Therapist. Responsibilities require physical strength, stamina, the ability to lift patients, and strong communication skills to execute detailed instructions.
