Job Description: The Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) provides physical therapy treatments to patients under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist. This position will assess a patients condition by evaluating their mental, emotional and physical status related to their impairment and the physician's medical diagnosis/referral. EDUCATION: Associate Degree in a Physical Therapy Assistant program required. EXPERIENCE: Six months of related experience and/or training preferred. CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES: Current physical therapy assistant license from the State of Nebraska required.
