OVERVIEW:

A full-time Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA), position is available in a sub-acute/skilled nursing rehab department located in Brunswick, ME.
Horizon’s Living & Rehab Center is a highly rated, locally owned skilled nursing facility in the scenic midcoast town of Brunswick, Maine. Our 65-bed facility provides exceptional multi-disciplinary care for a mix of skilled nursing and long-term care residents. We pride ourselves on offering a warm, supportive environment where residents and staff alike can thrive. Located just off the highway, our facility offers easy access to the surrounding area, and features a working farm, walking trails, and a community garden right in our backyard.

The qualified candidate will:

  • Provide comprehensive and compassionate therapy services in a sub-acute/skilled nursing facility setting
  • Work collaboratively with other rehab therapists and nursing staff in a supportive team-working environment
  • Possess a current Physical Therapy Assistant license or be license eligible to practice in the state employed
  • Demonstrate strong computer skills with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and have experience with electronic documentation
  • Demonstrate good attention to detail and timeliness with documentation
  • Work well with others in a team setting
  • Be flexible with hours
Responsibilities
