Description This position is a PRN, onsite clinical position within Tennessee Orthopaedic Alliance. Responsibilities Execute treatment plans established by supervising physical therapists, provide educational programs for patients, and utilize technicians to provide quality patient care by improving mobility & strength, and decreasing future injury for return to functional activities. Perform daily quality treatment for patients with a variety of orthopaedic conditions. Conduct frequent updates with physical therapists, physicians, and patients-communicating information regarding treatment, assessment, and progression of treatment of patients. Provide timely, thorough documentation, progress notes, and functional reports for the therapy treatment, utilize TOA’s EHR/EMR systems. Communicates effectively with providers, staff, patients, and families. Assist with objective date for patient’s discharge. Demonstrates positive engagement in providing the best customer service to patients and staff. Adheres to Federal and State regulatory laws and rules. Seeks appropriate input as needed. Requirements Current (or pending) licensure in the State of Tennessee is required. Efficient and effective time management to balance patient care and documentation needs. CPR Certification Experienced with varying techniques of therapeutic interventions, modalities, and manual therapies to treat patients with a variety of conditions.
