What You’ll Be Doing: Under the supervision of a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT), you will: Provide hands-on therapy including therapeutic exercises, manual treatments, and appropriate modalities (e.g., TENS application). Work with the DPT to develop and assign Home Exercise Programs (HEP) using WebPT Reach and guide Aides in instruction. Monitor patient progress, ensuring treatment goals are met and documenting key milestones, including daily notes, progress reports, and discharge summaries. Ensure seamless communication with the DPT and clinical team to optimize patient outcomes. Support and educate patients, making sure they feel comfortable, confident, and motivated throughout their recovery journey. Requirements Valid PTA license (required) Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and therapeutic techniques Familiarity with patient care documentation and best practices Comfortable using EMR systems such as WebPT, Prediction Health, and other digital tools Experience in outpatient or other clinical rehab settings preferred Skills in manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and geriatric care a plus Reliable transportation between clinic sites
