Job DetailsJob Location: DOVER, DE 19904Salary Range: $28.00 - $34.00 HourlyJob Shift: DayFull-Time Physical Therapy Assistant Under the supervision of the Physical Therapist, the Physical Therapy Assistant provides direct rehab care to patients upon completion of the evaluation and plan of care following all regulatory and clinical practices requirements. What we offer: Benefit eligibility within 30 days of employment Tuition reimbursement 401k with a generous match PTO Reimbursement of annual membership fees for Amazon Prime/Walmart Plus and Sam's Club/Costco Duties & Responsibilities: * Provide rehabilitative, skilled and medically necessary treatment intervention to patients with physical functioning disorders per regulatory and clinical practice requirements under the supervision of a Physical Therapist. * Evaluate mobility, strength and current level of patient function, while setting goals to improve in these areas. * Work closely with patients, family members and other care team members to adequately plan for patient needs, including short and long term goals. * Administer various procedures as part of the rehabilitation plan to include: manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, use of supportive and assistive devices, under the supervision of a Physical Therapist. * Assess patient's progress and communicate with supervising Physical Therapist to adjust treatments accordingly. * Report effectiveness of treatment outcomes to supervisor. * Effectively communicate with supervisor and other team members regarding progress, barriers and treatment plans. Current PTA License/Certification CPR/BLS Certification Must be at least 18 years old
Responsibilities
