JOB SUMMARY AND QUALIFICATIONS

1. Responsible for clinical management of the patient.
2. Assures satisfaction of customers (patients, visitors, physicians and staff)
3. Participates and understands Quality Management activities.
4. Demonstrates effective communication skills.
5. Demonstrates understanding of hospital and departmental policies and procedures.
6. Promotes cost effective unit operations.
7. Documents care utilizing the appropriate tools.
   8 Maintains competencies in clinical areas and is responsible for professional growth and development.
8. Complies with professional, regulatory, governmental and departmental standards.
9. Supervises students, (optional)

EDUCATION:

Graduate of an AMA accredited school of physical or occupational therapy
Graduate of an AMA accredited school of physical or occupational therapy assistant
Speech therapy graduate of an AMA accredited school and ASHA certified
