Description Joint Implant Surgeons of FL is a multi-specialty medical practice and is currently seeking a FULL TIME Physical Therapy Front Office Associate in our Fort Myers location. This is a very important role and is responsible for daily patient flow and billing our therapy cases. Build your new career with Benefits! (Employer match begins at 1 year of employment) The Best: Paid Time Off accrual and 7.5 Company Paid Holidays Some daily responsibilities include (but not limited to): Greet & check-in/check-out therapy patients Assist patients with necessary paperwork (via iPad) Enter and/or verify patient demographics in our EMR system, updating if necessary Print & prepare patient charts Schedule patient appointments Obtain insurance verifications Review services received by patients, ensuring all services rendered are on encounter form Answer incoming calls Collect therapy co pays and post charges as needed Pay to commensurate with experience Requirements If you are a person who: Has fantastic customer service skills (Medical Office or Therapy experience preferred) Is able to multitask in a fast-paced work environment Has strong verbal & written communications kills Has a basic knowledge of office equipment and a computer Has a basic knowledge of medical terminology, ICD-10, and CPT Codes (preferred but not required) Has a familiarity of commercial insurances, private carriers, HMO's and Medicare (preferred but not required) We'd love to talk with you!
