POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a versatile and passionate individual for a unique hybrid role as a Physical Therapy Technician and Performance Specialist. This position is perfect for someone with a strong background in exercise science who is eager to work in both a clinical and a performance-based setting. You will assist our licensed Physical Therapists in delivering exceptional patient care and will also take the lead in designing and implementing strength, conditioning, and sports performance programs for individual athletes and teams.
This is a part-time position with significant potential to grow into a full-time role for the right candidate.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

  • Required: Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or a closely related field.
  • OR a current, nationally recognized certification such as a Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) or Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS).
  • Preferred: A combination of a relevant Bachelor’s degree AND a certification (e.g., NSCA-CSCS, NASM-PES/CES).
  • Strong understanding of human anatomy, biomechanics, and exercise physiology.
  • Previous experience in a physical therapy clinic, athletic training room, or gym setting is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and coach a diverse range of clients, from rehabilitation patients to elite athletes.
  • A strong work ethic, a team-oriented mindset, and a genuine passion for helping others achieve their health and fitness goals.
  • Current CPR/First Aid certification is a plus.
