Responsibilities

Cultivates new and existing referral relationship:
· Markets CHP’s practices, locations and providers directly to referring physicians, referring personal injury attorneys, other healthcare providers, physician offices, employers, athletic programs & Sports teams via office visits, electronic media, professional meetings, continuing education or any other appropriate sales and marketing methods to effectuate new referral growth
· Develop and execute effective business development, sales, and marketing strategies to attract new patients and new business as well as execute patient retention strategies
· Maintains existing referring relationships through exceptional customer service, communication and retention related activities.
· Actively participates in regional and state professional provider organizations, attends, displays, and coordinates exhibits at associated events to generate leads. Attends industry conferences when needed to strengthen professional relationships and/or to increase industry knowledge
· Maintains complete and comprehensive Customer Relationship Management (CRM) record on existing and potential referring provider activity to increase effectiveness of communication and to serve as a basis for strategy development and new business opportunities.
· Establishes and meets outreach activity production goals, as set forth by CHP’s CEO, and documents trends, successes, and problems to assess and analyze yield, driving process improvement.
Utilizes marketing and communication techniques:
· Using company provided data, analyzes and identifies primary, secondary, and tertiary referral sources and geographic opportunities to prioritize efforts and target meaningful new relationships in an effort to increase referral levels.
· Evaluates payer mix and explores opportunities to support referral efforts. Develop and implement strategies based on payor opportunities.
· Analyzes demographic and clinic activity linked to referring providers through market intelligence, to create strategic referral goals and determine outcomes and effectiveness.
· Collaborates with CHP’s VP of Marketing and appropriate CHP leadership to provide a consistent and effective marketing program through distribution of marketing collateral, alignment with marketing campaigns and communication of intelligence from the field. Works with VP of Marketing to promote new service offerings at CHP’s practices
· Assists new CHP providers in practice building by introducing them to key referrers and the local community.
· Acts as a communication bridge between referring provider & attorney and CHP’s providers to maximize customer satisfaction. Provides patient progress reports to referring providers and attorneys.
· Plans, schedules, and attends dinners, meetings, and other educational programs for CHP’s providers to meet the public and/or other current and prospective referral physicians and attorneys.
· Develops and presents feedback reports to practice and corporate leadership as required.
· Collaborates with other Provider & Legal Relations Managers (physician referral liaisons) across CHP to execute best practices and processes for referral management and to eliminate duplicative work.
· Coordinates all local marketing and business development activities such as events, sponsorships, networking and community outreach within budget and aligned with CHP’s strategic marketing plan
Identifies areas in the referral loop for performance improvement and barriers to success:
· Maintains accurate record of referring physician complaints/issues in the CRM and works to ensure corrective action is taken by collaborating with facility partners and report results to facility & corporate leaders and the impacted provider.
· Participates and confers with practice administrators, local facility department heads and various departments (RCM, Finance, HR, IT, etc.) on process improvement in support of increased physician satisfaction concerning the referral process from first contact through patient discharge.

Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree required
· Minimum of 3+ years of experience as a physician liaison, medical device or pharmaceutical sales representative, or in another physician healthcare services sales position with demonstrated success in sales and marketing, customer service, public speaking and public relations duties
· Active driver’s license/insurance and reliable transportation
· Flexibility to work some evenings and weekends
· Ability to travel daily within assigned territory
· Demonstrated competency in PowerPoint, Excel and Microsoft Word
