We are a specialty outpatient mental health clinic committed to providing thoughtful, evidence-based psychiatric care for individuals and families. We’re seeking a Physician Assistant to support our team in delivering high-quality assessments and treatment planning. This is an excellent opportunity for a PA with a strong interest in mental health and a collaborative approach to care.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Current PA certification (CAPA) and active registration with the CPSO (**or eligibility to obtain, for new graduates awaiting exam/registration)
• Demonstrated interest in mental health care; prior experience in psychiatry, psychology, or behavioural health is an asset
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and comfort working with EMR systems

• Assist in conducting comprehensive psychiatric assessments, with a focus on:
• History-taking (medical, psychiatric, developmental)
• Reviewing and summarizing previous clinical records, assessments, and reports
• Documenting findings and supporting formulation of diagnostic impressions
• Drafting clinical notes for physician review
• Coordinating with physicians and other team members on care planning and follow-up
• Contributing to ongoing quality improvement in clinical documentation and workflow; including piloting AI software to help with note taking
