Description Inspire Health Medical Group, affiliated with UCSF Fresno, has a unique opportunity for a licensed Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner. The selected applicant will be involved in all levels of patient care within Burn Surgery at Community Regional Medical Center (CRMC) in Fresno, California. CRMC is the only Level 1 Trauma Center and comprehensive Burn Center serving several counties in Central California and is the primary teaching institution for UCSF Fresno Medical Education Program. Job Duties and Opportunities: Inpatient Burn Center Outpatient Burn Clinic Operating as First Assist in the Burn OR Fractional CO2 Laser Cases The program is based in Fresno, California, where residents enjoy a high standard of living combined with a low cost of living. Limitless recreational opportunities and spectacular scenery is all accessible in a community with abundant affordable housing. While there is much to see and do in Fresno, the city is ideally located for fast, convenient getaways to the majestic Sierra (just 90 minutes away) as well as the scenic Central Coast, just two and one-half hours away. Fresno is the only major city in the country with close proximity to three national parks, including renowned Yosemite National Park. Requirements Must obtain California Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner license prior to hire Prefer 2-5 years of burn care experience Salary: $135,000. The range listed is exclusively for base compensation for full-time employment and does not include incentive compensation or benefits. Actual compensation may be adjusted for experience, training, hospital/community need and other factors. Actual compensation may also vary based on additional services, including call coverage, administrative services, performance bonus, and/or productivity.
Responsibilities
The selected applicant will be involved in all levels of patient care within Burn Surgery at Community Regional Medical Center. Responsibilities include working in the inpatient burn center, outpatient burn clinic, and assisting in the burn operating room.
