Location: Burlington Status: Full‑Time Schedule: Clinic hours are 8:00 AM -- 8:00 PM Mon - Fri and 8:00 AM - 2:00PM Sat - Sun - Two - Three 12‑hour shifts per week with shorter 6-hour shifts every other weekend Compensation: $60--$80/hour (based on experience) + productivity bonus Benefits: Full-benefits package available   Sign On Bonus:  $5,000.00   Position Summary We are seeking a Full‑Time clinician to join our team in Burlington. The work is engaging and varied, with a broad patient population and generally low‑acuity presentations that keep skills sharp without the pressure of inpatient follow-up.   Key Responsibilities * Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages in an urgent care setting * Manage acute illnesses, injuries, and occupational health visits * Order and interpret diagnostic studies, including labs and imaging * Perform urgent care procedures such as suturing and wound management (as applicable) * Clearly communicate diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructions * Document patient care accurately and efficiently in the EHR * Code and bill services appropriately * Maintain productivity consistent with urgent care benchmarks * Practice in alignment with NextCare clinical standards and values   Required Qualifications * Active, unrestricted NC license for  NP | PA * Board certification or eligibility, as applicable * PA: NCCPA certification * NP: ANCC or AANP certification (FNP required) * Active DEA license (or ability to obtain) * Ability to treat patients of all ages * Active BLS certification * EHR proficiency * Willingness to work occasional weekends and holidays * DOT certification required or willingness to obtain (fees covered)   Preferred Qualifications * Prior urgent care, emergency medicine, or fast‑track experience * Strong procedural skills (e.g., suturing, splinting, wound care) * Experience with initial x‑ray interpretation prior to radiology over‑read   About NextCare NextCare is one of the nation's largest urgent care providers, serving communities with accessible, affordable, high‑quality care across 160+ locations in 11 states.
