JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our Integrative healthcare team at Blue Agave Functional Medicine. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care, diagnosing and treating various medical conditions through advanced diagnostics. This position requires a strong foundation in medical practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Competitive compensation with ability for productivity-based incentives well beyond pay range.

EXPERIENCE

  • A degree from an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program is required.
  • Previous experience in a medical office setting is preferred, with familiarity in integrative or functional medicine being advantageous.
  • Providers with experience with performing medical procedures will be given advanced consideration, but training is also available on site.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with medical advancements.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history, physical examinations, blood reviews
  • Diagnosis and management of acute and chronic illnesses.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans through dietary and lifestyle changes, IV therapy, supplements, and HRT as medically necessary.
  • Provide education and support to patients regarding their health conditions and treatment options.
  • Manage patient records accurately (EClinicalworks) for billing purposes.
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and best practices within the medical office environment.
