The Opportunity Seeking Emergency Department/Urgent Care Center physician assistants and nurse practitioners. Previous ED experience preferred. New grads welcome to apply. Current national certification, DEA, ACLS, PALS and BLS are required. Current IL state license is a plus. The Practice Advocate Sherman Medical Center – Elgin, Illinois 250-bed community hospital with a 45-bed Emergency Department. Level II Trauma Center, STEMI Receiving Center, and Primary Stroke Center. Diverse patient mix including 1/3 of the PEDS cases in the Illinois Advocate system. Annual volume of 65,000 with a 20%25 admit rate. Full sub-specialty backup with 24-hour social work, intensivists, anesthesiologists, and OB. An established Vituity site focused on throughput and quality. 2023 Lantern Award Recipient.
