JOB SUMMARY:

We are looking for a compassionate and experienced Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to conduct comprehensive medical evaluations for veterans seeking compensations for medical and psychological injuries sustained during their service. This position is 3 days a week based in Elmira, full time available with travel to Endicott. As a provider with IMA, you will conduct physical assessments, review medical records and ancillary testing results, and prepare reports using VA guidelines. Salary range is $115,000 to $125,000 for full time hours (salary pro-rated based on hours worked).

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Valid Physician Assistant license or Nurse Practitioner license.
  • Completion of a master’s degree in physician assistant studies or nurse practitioner studies.
  • Proven experience as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner.
  • Preferred specialties include family medicine, emergency medicine, internal medicine, occupational medicine, physical medicine and rehabilitation (PM&R), or orthopedics.
