Description Radiology Associates of Tallahassee is seeking a fulltime Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practioner (NP) to work with our interventional team. This position will be mainly in a hospital setting but will include coverage at our private outpatient facility as well, primarily conducting interventional radiology procedures. Located in Northwest Florida, Tallahassee is the state capital and the home of Florida State University, Florida A&M University, and Tallahassee Community College. The combination of State government and the universities creates an extremely stable economic environment. Tallahassee is a desirable community, with a surrounding population of over 300,000, which has attracted excellent physicians and is an ideal place to raise a family. With warm weather for most of the year and excellent school zones, Tallahassee is a wonderful place to live and practice medicine. Requirements The ideal candidate would have previous interventional radiology experience but strong clinical and/or surgical experience would suffice. New or upcoming grads would also be considered. PA: Completion of an ARC-PA approved program for Physicians Assistants, NCCPA certification and be licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of Florida. BLS, ACLS and DEA License required. NP: Completion of approved Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) program with National Certification and be licensed or eligible for licensure in APRN certification in the state of Florida.
