Description Physician Assistant – Spine & Extremity Orthopedics ?Location: Atlanta Metro (Conyers, Jonesboro, Carrollton) Positions: 2 Available Schedule: Monday-Friday | No Call | No Weekends Position Overview ProCo and AICA Orthopedics seeks experienced Physician Assistants for our multidisciplinary orthopedic practice spanning 21 locations. Unlike traditional groups that specialize in single body parts, our PAs work across both spine and extremity orthopedics, providing comprehensive care to accident injury patients alongside orthopedic surgeons, neurosurgeons, and interventional spine specialists. What You'll Do - Clinical Care: Conduct medical histories and physical examinations for spine and extremity injuries Diagnose and develop treatment plans for musculoskeletal conditions under physician supervision Order and interpret diagnostic imaging (X-rays, MRIs, CT scans) Perform trigger point injections and major joint injections Manage pre- and post-procedural care for interventional patients Interventional & Surgical Support: Order and coordinate interventional spine procedures (epidurals, facet blocks, RFA) First assist in OR for orthopedic and spine surgeries Assist with endoscopic spine surgeries and minimally invasive procedures Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Serve as liaison between patients and care team across multiple specialties Refer patients appropriately for specialized procedures or surgical consultation Ensure continuity of care across 21 AICA locations Collaborate with physicians, mid-levels, and therapy teams What You Bring - Required: Graduate of accredited PA program with current Georgia licensure (or ability to obtain) Minimum 5 years PA experience (strongly preferred) Experience in spine and extremity orthopedics – this is critical Current DEA, BLS, and ACLS certifications Proficiency with trigger point and joint injections EMR experience (NextGen preferred) Ability to work autonomously under physician supervision Preferred: Spine experience valued over extremity-only?
