Temple Health’s Urologic Institute Periop Team is looking for a Physician Assistant to join the growing team! Setting: Inpatient Location: Temple Main, 3401 N Broad St, Philadelphia, PA 19140 Hours: M-F 7am – 3pm | No On Call or Weekends Summary: The Physician Assistant will provide comprehensive perioperative care for urology patients under the supervision of attending physicians. This role focuses on optimizing postoperative recovery, coordinating care with residents and fellows, and facilitating timely, safe discharge in a high-volume academic environment. A structured onboarding and training process is provided, with an emphasis on teaching urology care according to the Urologic Institute’s standardized care pathways. With experience and demonstrated competency, the Physician Assistant will have opportunities to expand their role to include procedural responsibilities consistent with scope of practice and training. The Physician Assistant will function as an integral member of the care delivery team, working closely with attending physicians, residents, and fellows to provide coordinated perioperative care within the Urologic Institute. Main Responsibilities: Collaborates closely with residents and fellows to support coordinated patient care and clinical training activities. Provides comprehensive perioperative care with a focus on optimizing recovery and enabling timely patient discharge. Collaborate daily with attending physicians, residents, and fellows as part of the multidisciplinary care delivery team to ensure high-quality, standardized perioperative care for urology patients. Education: Bachelor's Degree Required Other Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program. Required Experience: 2 years experience as a physician assistant Preferred Licenses: PA Medical Physician Asst Lic Required Certified Physician Assistant Required
