The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with physicians to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Provide direct patient care, including diagnosis, treatment, and preventive care under physician supervision. * Conduct comprehensive physical examinations, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop individualized treatment plans. * Educate patients and families on disease prevention, medication management, and healthy lifestyle choices. * Assist in minor medical procedures as appropriate to scope of practice. * Maintain accurate and timely medical records using electronic health record (EHR) systems. * Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care. * Stay updated on best practices and medical advancements, participating in ongoing professional development. * Adhere to Living Water Clinic-Clinica Agua Viva’s mission and core values, ensuring a compassionate and culturally competent approach to care. REQUIREMENTS: Licensure & Certification: * Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program * Current DEA registration. * Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification (required upon hire). * Current and valid Physician Assistant (PA) license in California. Skills & Competencies: * Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with patients, families, and healthcare teams. * Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities to diagnose and develop treatment plans. * Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care. * Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced medical environment. * Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and care coordination. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: * Experience providing instruction in higher education or clinical training settings. * Strong time management and organizational skills. * Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
