Job Summary

Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Physician Assistant, a vital member dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care within a multidisciplinary clinical setting. Duties

• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history review and physical examinations using medical terminology accurately.
• Assist in diagnosing conditions and developing treatment plans in collaboration with the supervising physician.
• Administer medications and manage pain control strategies effectively.
• Document patient encounters meticulously within electronic medical records ensuring data collection accuracy.
• Provide patient education on treatment options, medication administration, and home care instructions to promote health literacy

Experience

• Experience working with electronic medical records, Telus PS Suite EMR
• Knowledge of medical terminology coupled with excellent patient care skills in diverse clinical environments.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration within multidisciplinary teams and engaging with patients across various settings.

Pay: From $50.00 per hour

Education:

• Secondary School (preferred)

Experience:

• Family medicine: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

• Graduate Accredited Physician Assistant Program (required)
• Eligible to practice as PA in Ontario (required)
