Outstanding BC/BE Pediatrician or Pediatric Hospitalist Opportunity in Florida’s Collier County Nicklaus Children's Health System and Nicklaus Children’s Pediatric Specialists (NCPS), the health system’s physician-led multispecialty group practice, have an exceptional opportunity for a board-certified or board-eligible (BC/BE) pediatric residency trained pediatrician or pediatric hospitalist with a minimum of two years post graduate experience (preferred) to provide Full Time and/or Staff Relief/POOL coverage in a newborn nursery located on Florida’s Gulf Coast in Collier County. About the Newborn Nursery Join a comprehensive perinatal and neonatal program for babies in a Level II NICU that is currently transitioning to a Level III NICU to better support the growing needs of the Naples community. This role presents a unique opportunity for a motivated candidate to provide coverage in the newborn nursery. Applicants should possess a passion for advocacy and improving care for all children. The BC/BE pediatric hospitalist will be responsible for the following: · Average 3,700 deliveries per year · 22-24 well newborn babies · Completion of History & Physical, Progress Notes, Discharge Summary · 15 shifts/month · Day shifts to include mix of weekend and weekday coverage About Nicklaus Children’s Health System For 75 years, Nicklaus Children's Health System has stood as a beacon of hope for children and families across the state of Florida and beyond.
