Position Summary AUIB is seeking a dynamic and experienced part-time physician to drive its mission of improving the health and wellness of our communities. Key Responsibilities Provide primary medical consultations, diagnose illnesses, prescribe treatments, and manage follow-up care for patients. Respond promptly to on-campus medical emergencies and coordinate with hospitals or ambulance services when necessary. Work closely with nurses, administrative staff, and university departments to ensure seamless healthcare delivery and referral management. Stay current with medical practices and participate in training sessions related to campus health, occupational safety, and emergency protocols. Maintain accurate, confidential, and up-to-date electronic and physical medical records in compliance with data protection and Iraqi Ministry of Health (MOH) requirements. Ideal Candidate Profile Thorough knowledge and a strong academic foundation. Hands-on experience in clinical settings and a strong understanding of patient care. A high standard of personal and professional colleagues’ integrity, and a commitment to ethical principles. Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with and other healthcare professionals. Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities to diagnose and treat patients effectively. Education and Experience Required Education: medical specialty in family medicine or emergency medicine is preferred. Years of Relevant Experience: 10 years. Specific Skills or Expertise: Fluent in Arabic and English language with excellent communication skills.
