The Ohio State University College of Medicine and the Wexner Medical Center seek an academic Urogynecologist to join the Division of Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery. Academic rank and track commensurate with academic record and experience.

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is seeking a Urogynecologist to join our growing Division of Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery. This is an outstanding opportunity to join a nationally recognized academic health center and contribute to advancing the field of pelvic health through clinical excellence, innovation, education, and research. Ideal candidates are board-certified or eligible physicians who are interested in resident education and direct patient care in an academic center. Additionally, they have an active role in medical student education. The division has an active faculty practice at five outpatient sites and one labor and delivery facility. Providers include 26 obstetrician-gynecologists, four gynecologists, and 16 nurse-midwives. Faculty expertise includes minimally invasive surgery, family planning, vulvar disease, menopause, pediatric and adolescent gynecology, and breastfeeding.
The Wexner Medical Center at Ohio State University is a state-of-the-art tertiary care center, with the planned opening of a new hospital facility scheduled for 2026. The Ohio State University College of Medicine graduates approximately 200 medical students per year. The obstetrics and gynecology residency program is integrated with the Mount Carmel Medical System and trains 11 residents per year. The metropolitan area is a growing community that houses the State Capital.

REQUIREMENTS

  • MD or DO or equivalent
  • Completion of an accredited Obstetrics and Gynecology residency program
  • Board certified or board-eligible by the American Board of Obstetrics and

    Gynecology

  • Fellowship training in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery
