The Opportunity Seeking Board Eligible/Certified Emergency Medicine physicians. Candidates wanting to work in an academic setting with current residents desired. Current CT state license is a plus. The Practice Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center – Hartford, Connecticut Level I Trauma Center, STEMI Receiving Center, and Stroke Center. 617-bed medical center with a 70-bed Emergency Department. Annual volume of 70,000 with 192 patients daily. Good blend of acuity and diverse patient population. Epic EMR with Dragon dictation. Additional resources include ED case management and crisis clinician support. Vituity-staffed hospitalists offer integrated care solutions at this site. Responsibilities

Physicians will provide emergency medical care at Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center, a Level I Trauma Center, STEMI Receiving Center, and Stroke Center, managing an annual volume of 70,000 patients in a 70-bed Emergency Department. Responsibilities include leveraging a national system of support while maintaining local control and autonomy in patient care delivery.
