Candidates wanting to work in an academic setting with current residents desired. The Practice Emory Decatur Hospital – Decatur, Georgia Vituity staffed since 2005. STEMI Receiving Center and Stroke Center. 451-bed facility with 29 Emergency Department beds and a 10-bed Clinical Decision Observation Unit. Internal waiting rooms with 25+ capacity, 4 psychiatric stabilization rooms, several expedited care and FAST areas. Annual ED volume of 70,000 with all sub-specialty backup. In-House Neurology M-F and TeleNeuro weekends and overnights. Emory Hillandale Hospital – Lithonia, Georgia Vituity staffed since 2005. 100-bed facility with 29 ED beds. 65,000+ annual ED volume. Epic EMR with Dragon dictation STEMI transfers go to Emory Decatur Hospital. Runner up in the TAT-D collaborative which had over 20 hospital teams throughout the country with the goal of reduction of turnaround time to discharge. Compensation for part-time and per diem roles is prorated based on clinical hours worked. Total compensation including partnership income varies by site and may significantly exceed the range shown.
