The Opportunity Seeking Board Eligible/Certified Emergency Medicine physicians. Current CA state license is a plus. Candidates wanting to work in an academic setting with current residents desired. The Practice John Muir Medical Center – Walnut Creek, California John Muir Medical Center – Concord, California 313-bed hospital with a 32-bed Emergency Department. An annual volume of 65,000+ with 2.3 patients per hour. An admit rate of 20%25; 10 -15%25 Sub-specialty cases include cardiac and peds. Epic EMR with Dragon dictation. Recognized as a preeminent center for cancer care and cardiac care, including open heart surgery and interventional cardiology.
