Job Description: Working collaboratively with intra and interdepartmental staff to administer treatment for patients utilizing nationally recognized treatment standards and documenting utilizing an electronic health record system. Conducting exams and writing evaluations and reports. Ordering and interpreting diagnostic testing. Managing medication. Completing reclassifications and other reviews as indicated. Making referrals for specialized care or treatment. Performing duties in accordance with scope of practice, ODRC policies, procedures, protocols, and related American Correctional Association standards. Participating in Continuous Quality Improvement meetings and activities, including peer reviews. Requirements If chosen for position TB (Less than 30 days old) and Drug screen (HireRight - NDOT 9 Panel Drug Test w/eCOC-3.0) must be uploaded prior to start. Screenings must be initiated w/in 48 hrs. of accepting the offer. No cell phones permitted until proper paperwork has been submitted and approved. Must clear a metal detector, no cans, tobacco, vapes, etc. permitted. Food/drinks must be in clear see through containers. No more than 1 gallon of water permitted to be brought into the facility. Searching for a physician who is board-eligible or board-certified in internal medicine, family medicine, or emergency medicine and who is experienced in primary care to provide on-site services on a full-time basis to the male population at this “reception” prison. Schedule is weekdays, no evenings, weekends. Compensation- $140.00 an hour/ 40 hrs. a week Duration - At least 6 Months from projected start date Hours/Week - 40 Start Time- 8:00 AM End Time -5:00 PM Minimum Education Level Doctoral Degree
