Gaudenzia's Mission: Gaudenzia's Mission is to promote long-term recovery by providing comprehensive treatment and support to people with substance use disorder, co-occurring mental health disorders, and related conditions, regardless of individual circumstances. Education/Training: * MD or DO required. Board certification in Addiction Medicine preferred * Experience with electronic medical records required * Individual Professional Liability insurance required * PT contract position – Up to 25 hours per week * Valid, unrestricted Federal Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) number * Valid Pennsylvania PROMISE number * Minimum of three to five years’ experience; Work experience in a substance use disorder treatment setting preferred Your responsibilities in this role include: * Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history, physical examination, and diagnostic tests * Assess and manage patients’ primary and acute care needs and make referrals to specialized care as needed * Promotes the utilization of all types of medication assisted treatment (MAT), Medications for Opioid Use Disorder (MAOD)/Medications for Alcohol Use Disorders (MAUD) * Work a minimum of 3 days a week; in-person availability required * Participate in weekly treatment team meetings * Order and monitor medication and medical care for clients as needed and provide written authorization What We Offer: Competitive Pay - On The Job Training - Upward mobility For more details please visit out website: https://www.gaudenzia.org/careers/ [https://www.gaudenzia.org/careers/] Our Operating Principles: We, as members of the Gaudenzia Team, are committed to these principles.
