Opportunity Information Sutter Medical Group (SMG) seeks to hire Hospitalists to join their established Hospitalist Program in Jackson, CA. Flexible Schedule: 13 shifts per month 12-hour day shifts (avg workload of 11 - 14 patients) 12-hour night shifts (avg workload of 2-6 admits) Differentials for night shifts Program Structure includes: ICU Coverage (6 bed) Vent Management Scheduling: Schedules are made 3 months in advance Physicians can expect to work a mix of rounding and night admit shifts every month Physicians (in general) have 2 weekends off each month Rounding is scheduled in 5–7-day blocks; can be longer or shorter if preferred Qualifications MD or DO degree (or equivalent medical degree) from an accredited medical school. Completion of an accredited residency in Internal Medicine and board certification or board-eligibility in Internal Medicine (for many positions) at time of hire or Family Medicine with 2 years of direct experience. Valid medical licensure in the State of California (or eligibility to obtain it) prior to starting. Responsibilities

Hospitalists will join an established program working a flexible schedule of 13 shifts per month, consisting of 12-hour day shifts (averaging 11-14 patients) or 12-hour night shifts (averaging 2-6 admits). Responsibilities include ICU coverage for a 6-bed unit and vent management, with schedules made three months in advance.
