Description

The Physician Liaison serves as a critical link between healthcare organizations (such as hospitals, specialty clinics, or healthcare networks) and referring physicians. This role focuses on developing and nurturing positive relationships with physicians, medical groups, and other referral sources to grow patient volumes, enhance service awareness, and improve physician satisfaction. The liaison is responsible for executing strategic outreach initiatives to promote services, gather feedback, and support organizational growth.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field (preferred).
  • 2+ years of experience in healthcare marketing, physician relations, or business development (required).
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with CRM tools is a plus.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally as needed.

Responsibilities
  • Relationship Management
  • Establish and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with referring physicians and healthcare providers.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for physicians and their office staff, addressing concerns and facilitating solutions.
  • Schedule and conduct regular visits to physician offices to maintain engagement and communication.
  • Strategic Outreach
  • Implement targeted outreach plans aligned with business development goals.
  • Identify opportunities for new referral relationships and service line growth.
  • Promote key services, new providers, programs, and updates.
  • Communication and Collaboration
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders (administration, marketing, clinical staff) to ensure physician needs are met.
  • Communicate physician feedback to leadership for service improvement.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams on promotional materials, campaigns, and events.
  • Data Tracking & Reporting
  • Track outreach activities, physician interactions, and outcomes in CRM or designated software.
  • Analyze referral trends and provide regular reports on performance metrics.
  • Monitor competitor activity and market trends to inform strategy.
  • Support & Education
  • Coordinate physician engagement events, educational seminars, or networking sessions.
  • Support onboarding and orientation of new physicians within the network.
