It is the perfect hybrid of Primary Care, Urgent Care, Emergency Medicine, and Addiction Medicine; providing care to an under-served, diverse, and appreciative patient population. We are currently looking for a Part Time - Physician / Medical Director to join our team and provide on-site medical care at the Allegany County Jail in Belmont, NY. This is a flexible Part-Time position, thus requiring a minimum of 4 hours of on-site care per week or 8 hours bi-weekly. Licensed to practice Medicine in the State of New York. Board Certified or Board Eligible. Maintain current DEA number and eligible to prescribe medications in New York state. Maintain active BLS (i.e., CPR) certification. Maintain current Driver’s License.
Responsibilities
The Physician/Medical Director will provide comprehensive medical and mental health care services within the correctional setting at the Allegany County Jail. This role involves utilizing a broad range of medical skills across primary, urgent, and emergency care disciplines for a diverse patient population.
