Description: This position is responsible for the admission and delivery of medical care and services to patients accessing the Hospital through the Emergency Room and who do not have assigned Primary Care Physicians. This position will also act as the Medical Consulting Physician on patients undergoing surgical procedures and requiring of post procedure in-patient medical maintenance. Qualifications: Degrees: Doctor of Medicine / Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Licenses & Certifications: Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) Drug Enforcement Administration. Additional Qualifications: Required: Graduate of an accredited school of Medicine; staff privileges in applicable BHSF facilities. MD or DO. Board Eligible/Board Certified in Internal Medicine Minimum Required Experience: 1 Year EOE, including disability/vets

Responsibilities

This role is responsible for admitting and providing medical care to patients arriving through the Emergency Room who lack assigned Primary Care Physicians. Additionally, the position will serve as the Medical Consulting Physician for inpatients undergoing surgical procedures who require ongoing medical maintenance.
